Donyale Luna’s journey unfolds across 1960s and 1970s Detroit, New York, London, Rome and Spain, alongside a contemporary fictional story centred on Sophia Dolce. Historical reconstruction, archive and live action bring worlds of fashion, art and counterculture to life.
